Harbaugh: 'We can do better'
Also speaking after his team's win, John Harbaugh says: “There’s a lot of things that we can get better at. Our defense had six straight stops and we scored on six straight possessions.
“There’s too many big pass plays (and) we didn’t play the screen game well. We can do better. We will do better. And we’ve got to catch the ball. How many interceptions could we have had?”
On Marlon Humphrey's status after he left the game with an injury, he says the cornerback was walking around the locker room. He’s hopeful the knee injury isn’t too serious but they’ll know more tomorrow.
Lamar: 'I'm chasing something right now'
Speaking after the Ravens' win, Lamar Jackson says: “Those guys were coming after us … It was like, let’s go. We have to start scoring. I’m chasing something right now. All these games mean something.”

This is a different Ravens team
Lamar Jackson's growth and the addition of Derrick Henry have made this Ravens team more venomous than ever. They feel different.
Henry is King
Lamar Jackson will get a lot of the shine for his action through the air, but Derrick Henry's 169 rushing yards tonight has put him on a historic pace. His 873 total rushing yards are the eighth most through seven games in the Super Bowl era, and the most since DeMarco Murray's OPOY season in 2014 (913). With 134 carries on the season, Henry's 6.5 yards per rushing attempt are the highest yards per rushing attempt by a back with at least 850 yards through seven games (prev. best: Dalvin Cook, 2020 - 858 yds, 6.0 YPA)
Surprisingly (or not, considering it's King Henry), this 2024 performance only barely eclipses the best pace of the 30-year-old running back's career. Henry's previous best performance through the first seven games came in 2021 with 869 rushing yards. That was the year after Henry posted a 2,000-yard season, which was unfortunately shortened by a season-ending broken foot.
Ravens beat Bucs 41-31
It's all over in Tampa Bay. A costly night for the Bucs, who lose not only the game but their top two receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to injury.

Godwin injured
Q4 0:43 Ravens 41-31 Buccaneers
Mayfield found Godwin for a gain on 21 yards on third down to keep the Bucs drive alive, but Godwin was injured as he was tackled by Smith. ESPN's broadcast makes a point of declining to replay the injury, saying that it's an ugly one. That's tough news for the Bucs, who lost fellow star wide receiver Mike Evans to a hamstring injury earlier in this game.
FIELD GOAL: Chargers cut deficit to 2
Q4 Chargers 12-14 Cardinals
The Chargers’ lack of viable pass-catchers is showing up here in the fourth quarter. Justin Herbert made two sensational throws on that drive. One came on first down on a wheel route to Stone Smartt, who could not make the diving catch. On second down, Herbert threw a back shoulder ball to Will Dissly into double coverage. That throw was on the money, as well. It went off Dissly’s hands.
The Chargers settled for a fourth field goal of the game.
